Anchor Inn, 261 Island Highway
From the south, take Highway 19, then 19A toward Campbell River. Pass through Willow Point and continue on 19A. Anchor Inn is just past 2nd Avenue on your right. From the north, take Highway 19A through Campbell River. Shortly after the Discovery Wharf (pier), you will see Anchor Inn on your left. Self-registration box is at the main desk.

Scenic views of the ocean, through neighbourhoods and along waterfront. Trail is not suitable for wheelchairs or baby strollers.

The 5 and one 10 km walk zigzag through business and residential streets to view the murals for which Chemainus is famous. The second 10 km walk is also on business and residential streets to view the murals, on country roads and some trails.

From Hwy. 1, take Exit 44. Follow Port Coquitlam / Mariner Way signs on Lougheed Hwy. Left at first light (500 meters after freeway off ramp) and right at the next two traffic lights. Proceed up Mariner Way to Austin Ave. Turn left, heading west, on Austin. Esso Station is on south side heading up hill. The 7-Eleven store will be 1.5 km further west on same side of street as Esso. Do not park in the 7-Eleven lot while doing the walk. Park in the Mundy Park lots on Hillside St. where there is one main lot and 2 overflow lots.

This walk goes through the forest and around lakes of Mundy Park on bark mulch trails. Not suitable for baby strollers or wheelchairs.

The trail passes through Watershed Park, following a series of trails. It passes the Old Artesian Well that was once Delta’s water supply. The trail also offers a good view of Mud Bay.

REGISTER: BC Tourist Information @ Golden on Golden Donald Upper Rd. Drive to the START POINT at 500 10th Ave North.
REGISTER: Follow Tourist Information signs and go to the BC Tourist Information Centre. From the east on Hwy. 1 (TransCanada Hwy., right onto Golden Donald Upper Rd. From the west on Hwy. 1, left onto Golden Donald Upper Rd. Left into Tourist Information Centre.
START POINT: Drive to the start / finish point at the Chamber of Commerce Information Centre, 10 Ave North. From the BC Tourism Information Centre turn right on Golden Donald Upper Rd.. Right on Hwy. 1. Left on Hwy. 95, which turns into 10th Ave. North. Left into the parking lot at the Chamber of Commerce Information Centre at 500 10th Ave just after the pedestrian crosswalk.
Daily: 09:00 - 16:00 with extended hours until 20:00 for July & August. Note that Golden is on Mountain (not Pacific) Time.
The routes cross the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge to follow the Kicking Horse River, the Rotary Trails and through a short residential section.
