The walk takes in the town, waterfront, farmland, forests, and a beautiful view of the bay. This walk passes Butchart Gardens. Not suitable for wheelchairs or baby strollers.

The route is on some country roads but mainly in Hemer Park and on the Morden Colliery Trail. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

7 - Eleven Store, 2188 Austin Ave.
From Hwy 1, take Exit 44. Follow Port Coquitlam / Mariner Way signs on Lougheed Hwy. Left at first light (500 meters after freeway off ramp) and right at the next two traffic lights. Proceed up Mariner Way to Austin Ave. Turn left, heading west, on Austin. Esso Station is on south side heading up hill. 7 - Eleven Store will be 1.5 km further west on same side of street as Esso. Do not park at 7-Eleven Store while doing the walk. Park in the Mundy Park lots on Hillside St. where there is one main lot and 2 overflow lots.
Daily: dawn to dusk
This walk goes through the forest and around lakes of Mundy Park on bark mulch trails. Not suitable for baby strollers or wheelchairs.

From the South: On reaching Courtenay, take Cliffe Ave. to Fifth St., turn right, over the 5th St. Bridge. The centre is on the left at the far end of the park. From the North: The Centre is located on Old Island Highway, on the right by the play park. The box is kept in a small storage room across from the office and marked “Staff Only.” Parking is available just north of the building.
M-F 06:30 - 22:00; Sa 08:30 - 16:00; Su 09:00 - 21:00. Hours may vary seasonally or on holidays. Phone: 250-338-5371 or 250-338-1000 to confirm hours.
Trail goes through residential areas, parks and along estuary nature preserve. Suitable for wheelchairs or baby strollers but may be difficult through park area.

There are two routes. The "Bog" walk proceeds through residential areas to the famous "Burns Bog" Conservation Area on peat which contains intriguing cover and growth while being home to a variety of wildlife. The street walk proceeds through residential areas and school / park land.

From Vancouver take Hwy 1, Exit 170 into Hope. Left at the first lights , Right at the next lights onto the old Hope-Princeton Hwy. Left to Sixth Ave after passing the Kawkawa Lake Rd. The Recreation complex is on your right. Walk registration box is in the lobby.
