The route is in residential streets and along farmland and orchards, going around Giant’s Head Park.

The trail proceeds through Crescent Park, residential streets and down to the beach, along the promenade to Blackie’s Spit and Heron Park. Not suitable for wheelchairs or baby strollers.

From Hwy. 10 west, turn left (north) on 152 St. to Fraser Hwy. (Hwy. 1A), turn right (east) on Fraser Hwy. to 160 St. From Hwy. 10 east, turn right (east) at Fraser Hwy. (Hwy. 1A) to 160 St. From 176 St. (Hwy. 15 - Truck Crossing at Blaine), turn left (west) at Fraser Hwy. (Hwy. 1A) to 160 St.

The pavement and bark mulch trail follows residential streets to the Tynehead Regional Park on the Serpentine River, a unique salmon spawning river with salmon hatchery. Not suitable for wheelchairs and baby strollers.

From the east - Hwy. 1, Exit 53 (176 St) south to 96 Ave., west to 128 St. 
From the west - Hwy. 1, Exit 40A Brunette Ave., becomes Columbia S.t, over Pattullo Bridge, (Hwy. 99A) which becomes King George Hwy.; south to 96 Ave., west to 128 St. From Tsawassen Ferry - Hwy. 17, Hwy 10 east to 128 St., north to 96 Ave.
Mon - Fri: 09:00 - 21:00; Sat: 09:00 - 18:00; Sun and holidays: 10:00 - 17:00.

Route A - Trail passes through residential areas and parkland. Enjoy Bear Creek Park with its creeks, rose gardens and miniature train.
Route B - Trail passes through residential areas, parkland, SFU and cenotaph at Whalley Legion. This route qualifies for the Special Volkssport Challenge in honour of the 2010 Olympics if done between January 1 and April 30, 2010.

REGISTER: The Crow’s Nest, 205 Main St. Ucluelet.

From Island Hwy, take Hwy. 4 (Exit 60) toward Port Alberni. In Port Alberni, turn right on River Rd. / Hwy. 4. At the junction for Tofino / Ucluelet, take the left fork and follow signs to Ucluelet. Left on Main Street to The Crow's Nest.    START POINT: Retrace back to the junction, turn left to take the Pacific Rim Hwy towards Tofino, pass the Information booth, turn left on Lynn Rd. to small parking area on right and enter trail.. If completing the 10 km option, return to Pacific Rim Hwy. and continue into Tofino (it becomes Campbell St.). Pass 3rd St. and “Welcome to Tofino” sign and park on the street in front of city Park.
Mon-Fri: 09:00 - 18:00; Sat - Sun: 09:30 - 17:30.

The required 5 km route follows a trail to Chesterman Beach and continues on the beach. The Lennard Island Lighthouse can be seen on the route. To complete a 10 km route, do the Tofino Heritage walk which passes historical buildings and sites in the town of Tofino. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Both walks go on the Wild Pacific Trail on the shoreline of the west coast of Vancouver Island. The trail offers spectacular shoreline panoramas and seaward vistas.

Hwy 16 between Valemoun, BC and Jasper, AB. Must drive about 2.2 km to the Berg Lake Trail parking lot to start the walk.

Daily Mid June - Labour Day weekend: 08:00 - 19:00; at other times daily: 08:00 - 17:00.

Both the 5 & 10 km routes are on trail with good views of Mt. Robson and along the Robson River. The 10-km route goes to Kinney Lake.

Great views of Vancouver harbour and downtown, North Shore mountains and English Bay. Main 10-km route goes on some fairly secluded trails in the park. Optional 10-km seawall route (rating 1A) around the park is safe for walkers on their own and is suitable for wheelchairs and baby strollers.

Tilley Endurables is at the southwest corner of 8 Ave. and Granville St. Walk box is under the cash counter. Hwy. 99 into Vancouver which.becomes Granville St.  On-street parking in area.

Mon - Sat: 10:00 - 17:30; Sun & holidays: Noon - 17:00. Closed Dec 25 & 26.

The walk goes to Granville Island and False Creek  for a pleasant walk along the shores of this restored area passing historic sites. A ferry boat takes you back to Granville Island Market (small charge for the ferry).  Not suitable for baby strollers and wheelchairs. An alternate route is available around False Creek - no ferry.
This walk qualifies for the Special Olympic Challenge in honour of the 2010 Olympics, if done between January 1 and April 30, 2010.

10-km Point Grey route goes along Jericho Beach and Spanish Banks and up the hill to return along residential streets. Only the 5-km Point Grey route is suitable for  wheelchairs or baby strollers.
