From Trans-Canada Highway, take Fredericton exit, then Regent St. North exit. Go to bottom of hill to King St. Turn right, then left on St. John St. Hotel is straight ahead on Queen.

There are several route choices. One walk goes through Victorian section of city, through the University and utilizes portions of the trail system through Odell Park and the waterfront. One significant hill. There are other flatter route using alternate trails.

Take Exit 170 from the TransCanada Highway into Hartland. The Information Centre will be on your right, just past the bridge.

The trail takes you through town, out on the TransCanada & Rail Trail along the St. John River and through the Longest Covered Wooden Bridge in the world.

Daylight Hours
This walk takes you through the streets of downtown Moncton. Through the Tidal Bore Park and around Jones Lake. Two alternate routes available following through downtown and along the TransCanada Trail.

Walk box is located at Lancaster Irving, open 24/7. From NB Hwy. 1 take Exit 119 (Catherwood Drive). Proceed to the intersection of Catherwood and Fairville Blvd. Turn Left onto Fairville Blvd. The Irving is located on the left just past the Burger King.

The Nature Park, just 5 minutes from the city centre, features the world’s highest tides, a rare Acadian forest, beaches, salt-water marsh, varied well-groomed trails, sea birds and mammals as well as excellent lookouts.

Reversing Fall Visitor’s Information Centre, 200 Bridge Rd. 506-658-2937
Coming from Fredericton/ Calais: take exit 119 (Bleury St. / Catherwood St.). Turn left at the traffic lights onto Catherwood St. At the next set of lights turn right onto Fairville Blvd. At the intersection (Tim Hortons on the left) go straight ahead to Bridge Rd. This is a dangerous intersection as traffic comes in all directions. The tourist bureau is on your right by the bridge. There is plenty of parking.
Coming from Moncton: Take exit 119A to Catherwood St./ Reversing Falls. Immediately turn right at the traffic lights onto Fairville Blvd. At the intersection (Tim Hortons on the left) go straight ahead to Bridge Rd. The world’s highest tides create a unique phenomenon reversing the flow of the St. John River over an impressive set of rapids, twice a day. Trinity Royal route includes many national historic / heritage and green areas including Victorian homes and businesses. The Harbour Passage route is an award winning waterfront walk of a working port. Many amenities in this route. Digby Wharf Light and the Partidge Island Light are visible from this walk.
