Please note: Before travelling any significant distance to do one of these Year Round and Seasonal walks, walkers should always contact the 'Contact Person' or club shown with each walk. If either of these are unavailable, please contact the appropriate Regional Director or the CVF office at cvffcv@bellnet.ca The CVF makes every effort to keep this information up to date, but changes do occur from time to time that may inconvenience walkers who travel.

Take Hwy 401 - Exit 509; south for 5 km to the first set of lights in Brighton. Turn right.

Mon - Fri : 06:00 - 19:00 / Sat : 08:00 - 17:00 / Sun : 09:00 - 15:00

The 10 km trail is level, mainly on paved roads and side walks. The 20 km trail is  mainly on paved roads into Presqu’ile Park.

From Hwy. 401 take exit 696 (Stewart Blvd.) south to Central Ave.  Left on Central Ave.  to Park St., left on Park St. - YMCA is on the right. Registration at Front Desk. Parking available at or near the YMCA.

M-F and Sun 07:30 - dusk

Sat 07:30 - 17:00

Through the City of Brockville and along the waterfront. An easy walk, mostly on pavement with no significant hills.

From Ottawa: Exit Hwy 17 at Hwy 11 S (toward Toronto).  Exit 11S at exit 329. At the stop sign turn right on Lake Nosbonsing Rd. Take the next right onto Callander Rd. (old hwy 11). The next left will take you into Callander. Lucky 13 will be on your right passed the Callander Plaza.

Free parking at the plaza across the road. From Toronto: Exit Hwy 11 at exit 329 (Callander / Astorville). At the stop sign turn right on Lake Nosbonsing Rd. Take the next right onto Callander Rd. (old hwy 11). The next left will take you into Callander. Lucky 13 will be on your right passed the Callander Plaza.

Free parking at the plaza across the road.

08:00 - dusk. Restaurant hours may vary on week-ends or holidays.

This route follows roadways, sidewalks and some gravel trails. There are no significant obstacles.

From Ottawa:  Take Hwy #7 to Havelock;  Turn Left on Hwy #30 to Campbellford.

Just before crossing the bridge in Campbellford over the river, Turn Right on Grand Rd. The Start Point at Chamber of Commerce is on the immediate left.

From Hwy #401:  Take Hwy #30 north to Campbellford where it becomes Grand Rd. The Chamber of Commerce is on right  just before the traffic lights at Bridge St.

From Belleville:  Take Hwy #62 to Hwy #14 to Stirling.  Continue straight ahead at Stirling traffic lights for approximately one km, Turn Right on Hwy #8 to Campbellford.  Turn Left at second stop sign in Campbellford on Bridge St.E.;  Follow Bridge St  over river and Turn Left on Grand Rd.  Start Point at Chamber of Commerce is on immediate left.

09:00 - 17:00 daily

The 5 km walk is on a gravel pathway and paved roads or sidewalks. 1B.

The 10 km walk is on gravel pathways, steel suspension bridge, and paved roads and sidewalks with some slight hills.  Rating is 2B.

Enter CFB Borden via the Angus Gate. Proceed straight on Cambrai St., continue to a T-junction. Turn right onto Ramillies Rd. The Buell Gym is on your right, parking on your left.

This walks highlights the historical elements of the Canadian Forces Base Borden as well as the natural beauty of the Trillium Trail.

Hwy. #401(Exit 623) to Hwy. #15. Exit south to Hwy. #2.  Right on Hwy. #2, over the causeway to Princess St. Left on Princess St. to the Holiday Inn.  There is parking at the hotel, however there is a fee. Check in at the Fitness Centre desk which is upstairs.  Enter front door, turn left, pass the elevators to the Fitness Centre which is at the end of the hall.

Main route plus several alternate routes.  Some routes will take you along the waterfront, others past the historical  sites of Kingston.
