Going North on Highway 11, continue past the Wabi River, turn right to follow Highway 11B to New Liskeard. (Going south on Highway 11, continue past the Husky through the lights and turn left to follow Highway 11B to New Liskeard. Follow Highway 11B past MacDonald’s, past Temiskaming Square (on your left), follow curve left past Ford Dealer, follow curve right past Kentucky Fried Chicken. Continue over the bridge straight through the lights (this is Armstrong St.) to the Waterfront Inn. Turn right at Waterfront Inn’s parking lot. Pool Fitness Centre is on your left.
M-Th 08:00-22:00; Fri. 08:00-20:00; Sat 10:00-20:00; Sun 12:00-17:00. Closed Christmas and New Year’s Day. Open all other statutory holidays - call ahead to confirm times.
Trail takes you through the residential area and New Liskeard’s waterfront.

[From Canadian Side of the Falls] From the QEW [either direction] - use exits marked ‘Bridge to USA’. Follow Route 420 toward the bridge to the end at the Parkway. Turn right. Turn right again onto Clifton Hill. The Comfort Inn is on your left. [From American side of Falls] Cross Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, NY. Turn right off bridge and make three more right turns onto Clifton Hill. Comfort Inn is on the left in the second block.
Registration - daylight hours.
Please Note: Walkers wishing to cross from the US to Canada or cross into the US need proof of citizenship. Foreign Visitors to Canada may need additional documentation.
One walk option requires crossing the Rainbow Bridge between Canada and the USA. All walks follow city and park sidewalks and the road through Dufferin Islands Park. Walk options include some or all of the following: Clifton Hill; the Niagara River; the Falls and attractions; the Greenhouse; and, Dufferin Islands Park before returning through parks and gardens.

The Name Tree, 217 King St. (905-468-8214 Apr-Dec.) Jan 1- Mar 31 call Niagara Escarpment Volkssport Assocaition.
Start Point:- An interesting genealogy / armoury shop opposite the Prince of Wales Hotel at the corner of Queen. and King St. Parking for walk and registration: Fort George National Historic Park on parkway “opposite” the big Shaw Festival Theatre. Parking fee is charged for cars and buses in the lot and on side streets. Leave your car at Fort George as the walk from your car is included in the walk’s distance. Walk follows the wide treed sidewalk toward the town, along Picton St. past Wellington and turning left at the Prince of Wales Hotel onto King St.
Little or no parking in the village, all parking is metered.
10:00 - 17:00. Phone for confirmation.
Trail follows pathways, village sidewalks and along side streets. This walk features many historic homes and passes the oldest golf course in North America. Many gift shops and restaurants.

As you enter North Bay from Ottawa or Toronto, follow the by-pass. At the 2nd traffic light, turn left on Fisher. Follow Fisher to Main St. [Hwy 11 B] and turn left on Main. Main will become Lakeshore after the overpass. Follow Lakeshore for about 4.5 km. The Travelodge will be on the left. From Sudbury [west], follow the by-pass up to the 5th traffic light. Turn right on Fisher and follow it to Main St. Turn left on Main [Hwy 11 B]. After the overpass, it will become Lakeshore Dr. Follow Lakeshore for about 4.5 km. The Travelodge will be on the left.
Dawn - Dusk daily. Travelodge is open every day of the year.
Two routes - 10k and 15k walks are available. These routes follow roadways, sidewalks and bike / walking pathways and have no significant obstacles. Suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash and cleaned up after.

Country Style Donuts, Foran Street
As you enter North Bay from Ottawa or Toronto, you will be on the by-pass going through 4 sets of traffic lights. At the 5th light, turn left on Algonquin Ave. and follow it past the large church (Pro-Cathederal). Turn right on Foran. The Country Style will be on your left. From Sudbury [west], turn right at the second traffic light on Algonquin Ave. and follow it to the end. Make a rght turn on Foran. The Country Style will be on your left.
08:00 - dusk. Restaurant hours may vary on week-ends or holidays.
10k and 15k routes. Trail rating is level 1A. These routes follow roadways, sidewalks and some gravel pathways and have no significant obstacles. This route follows roadways, sidewalks, gravel pathways and paths. There are several challenging hills.

Perth offers a glimpse into a bygone era when it was a busy commercial, manufacturing and trading point on the Tay Canal, an extension of the Rideau Canal system. Today it is noted for many of its solid stone homes and fine shops offering local arts and crafts.

From Hwy. 401 - take Hwy. 115 north toward Peterborough. When you arrive just outside the city, you should take an exit marked 'The Parkway' [North]. Follow The Parkway to Lansdowne Rd. and turn right. Take Lansdowne Rd. through 5 sets of lights, past the Home Depot. Turn left onto Aylmer St. South. The YMCA is on the left. From Hwy. 7 - follow Hwy. 7B into the city where it will change name to Lansdowne Rd. Take Lansdowne Rd. past the Memorial Centre and George St. Turn right at the next street, Aylmer St. South. The YMCA is on your left.

The route of this walk includes significant sections along the city's many trails, waterfront pathways and a jaunt out to see the extraordinary Hydraulic Lift Lock on the Trent-Severn Waterway system.
