Hwy #1 about 71km west of Regina.  Can also be reached from Hwys #2, #39, #6 and #11.  Meter parking on street.

The trail is open dawn to dusk.

Some sidewalks, paved, gravel and boardwalks.  Suitable for both strollers and wheelchairs.  Dogs on leash. The walk follows the Moose Jaw River in beautiful Wakamow Valley.

Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, parking lot at Nicolle Flats

Nicolle Flats is located in Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, located about 18 miles (29km) northeast of Moose Jaw, SK.  If traveling west on Hwy #1 take Hwy #301 just east of Moose Jaw.  If traveling east on Hwy #1, turn north on Hwy #2 to #202. Call 1-800-667-2757.  There is a Park entry fee (2009 fee was $7.00 per vehicle)

Sunrise to sunset.

The walk starts at Nicolle Flats and direction signs are posted in the park.
There is a board walk into the marsh. The trail is open during park hours of operation.  The trail starts out hilly, with wooded areas for first half, level and partly wooded last half.  Not suited for strollers or wheelchairs.  Pets to be kept on a leash. There is a natural spring at Nicolle Homestead, and picnic tables.

North Side Esso - 1892 - 100th Street [Hwy #4 is 100th Street]  306-445-9274

Hwy #16 from the West merges with Hwy #4.  Hwy #16 from the East turns left at Gold Eagle Casino, go straight ahead and this will become Railway Avenue that turns right on 100th Street.  Please park on side street as there is limited customer parking at the Esso Station. [1892 -100th St. is on Hwy #4 in North Battleford.]

Dawn to Dusk.

5 and 10 km. routes: sidewalks, paved walks.  Suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. This route highlights buildings in the city. 12 km. route: fairly big hill with some steps, unpaved [unfriendly to strollers and wheelchairs]. This longer route has an archeological and historical feature at top of hill.

Regina Beach is located on the south end of Last Mountain Lake on Hwy 54 , 17 km off Hwy 11, 82 km NW of Regina.

The trail is open 07:00-21:00

“Dorothy’s Walk” - Some sidewalks, gravel path, grassy hills and gravel road.  Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.  Dogs must leashed and cleaned up after. The walk has 4 km on the old rail bed, 3 km on gravel road and sidewalks, the last 3km is up and down hills.  Lots of wildlife, flora and fauna.  Great bird watching and he view is great too!

Located in the south end of the city, just off Hwy #1 By-Pass (Albert Street is #6 Hwy that runs straight through the city north to south).  There is on street parking, some parking in front of the Legislature in the Visitors lot.

Sept- May 08:00 to 17:00. Summer hours 08:00 to  21:00. The Legislative buildings are closed on New Years Day,Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Part of the trail is located in a park and dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after.

From the EAST: Follow Hwy. 16 as it merges with #11. Follow the highway over the Idylwyld Bridge over the S. Saskatchewan River. At the end of the bridge exit on to 1st Ave. South, and right onto 19th St. E. which will become Spadina Cres. E. The hotel is on your right. From the WEST / NORTH: Follow Hwy. 11 and 16 in Saskatoon where it becomes Idylwyld Drive. Follow the drive to 1st Ave. (Do Not Cross the Bridge)Turn left onto 19th St. East then to Spadina Cres. E. The hotel is on your right.

Walk during daylight hours.

A beautiful riverside walk on paved multi-use paths. There are some stairs on the access to bridges.

Weyburn Inn, 5 Government Rd. off Hwy, 39.  306-842-6543

Located 115 km south east of Regina and can be reached by Hwys 39, 35, or 13.

The trail is open 7 days a week, sunrise to sunset.

Made up of sidewalks, paved and gravel pathways.  Good for strollers and wheelchairs.  Most of trail is along Souris River; there are benches along the route.  Dogs on leash. Good food and parking. Trail mostly paved - very little gravel.

Information Centre is located at the junction of Hwy. 9 and 16 on the east side of Yorkton.

Victoria Day to Labour Day  Monday to Friday 0800 - 1800, Saturday & Sunday 0900 - 1700
Rest of the year open Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700

Very few hills, a significant part of the walk is on pavement, the rest on groomed trails with very little difficult terrain.
