Google Maps or MapQuest? Which one is better? Generally speaking, I find MapQuest to have a more complete and accurate reference system, especially for small or outlying communities. If in doubt, try both and see which one gets you closer to your destination. Postal Codes, if shown, have been submitted by the club sponsoring the event. For more complete information on HOW to use Postal Codes to get to a YRE start point, click here.

‘RSS’ stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’, an easy way for you to track changes to web pages that change on a regular basis. First of all, not all web pages offer this, but most ‘Blogs’ and all types of news services do offer it because their content is continually changing. It is a two-part feature; your Internet browser needs to have it built in [most modern ones do], and the web page itself needs to offer it. Using RSS, you are able to subscribe to the following three pages: (1) Latest News, (2) Milestones and (3) Passings. Click on the blue ‘RSS Subscribe’ button on these three pages and the computer will automatically check the web page to see if there have been any changes since the last visit. Notice of updates will appear as unread mail in a special RSS folder in your email program.
