WALK DESCRIPTION: Explore the trails of this beautiful recreation area. The trails lead through a variety of forest ecosystems and feature several viewpoints that collectively offer a 360 degree view of the surrounding area.

DIRECTIONS TO START POINT: North on Patricia Bay Hwy 17 to its end at the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.
WALK DESCRIPTION: The walk is in Ruckle Provincial Park which is a 10 km drive from the Fulford Harbour ferry terminal. The walk is mostly on trails through a mixture of forest, field and shore habitats. Views of shoreline, rocky headlands and tiny coves and bays abound. After the walk we will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, leaving the afternoon free to relax or explore other parts of the island such as the lovely town of Ganges.

WALK DESCRIPTION: Join us for an evening walk through Sandy Hill and historic Lowertown, the oldest part of the city. Lowertown's diverse population makes it one of the city's more interesting neighbourhoods. Sandy Hill is home to a number of embassies which we will pass by on our walk.

DIRECTIONS TO START POINT: Take Hwy 1 north; take exit 10 to Colwood/Sooke; Left on Metchosin Rd; Left on Lagoon Rd; Follow downhill to corner of Ocean Blvd.
WALK DESCRIPTION: Walk is through several parks in Colwood with views over to Victoria.

DIRECTIONS TO START POINT: Take Hwy 104 and turn onto Rte 320 at Exit 46, continie over Lennox Passage Bridge, turn right on Rte 206. Continue thru Arichat on High Rd. to North Side Petit De Gras Rd. to Boudreauville and to the trail-head.
WALK DESCRIPTION: Walk includes a series of connected board-walks, coastal trails with low growth coastal forest and a beach area.

WALK DESCRIPTION: Eleventh of 12 events in the River & Ravine series. Mostly dirt trails, but some paved pathways.
